Yssa grew up in New Jersey and graduated with a BFA in Animation and a minor in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts. She got her start as an animator, and enjoyed learning and seeing every aspect of the pipeline and the people behind the scenes. Since moving to Austin, Texas, she’s also co-hosted some podcasts with a group like anime-centered Fan Service and I Have Notes, guesting in other podcasts, and lending her voice and acting for other productions.
She actively knits, crochets, games, and starts dancing the moment there is music. She loves big casts with diverse, meaningful stories, and complaining about how annoying her dog is while cuddling him.
